- October/November 2020 Gourmet Traveller WINE Magazine 'impressed the entire panel. Hooke noted, “Lots of lime-zest and lemon-pith aromas. The wine is intense and long, deliciously concentrated and profound in its flavour. Seamless texture and great balance. The balance is off-dry; a superb wine.” I found it intensely floral and gave big ticks to all elements of the balance. I also found the wine surprisingly fresh for its age. It’s a simply excellent riesling.'
Rated 96 points and the number one wine of 45 wines - all 2017 Rieslings from South-west Australia by Huon Hooke and the team at The Real Review,
Light to mid-yellow colour. Lots of lime zest and lemon pith aromas, the wine intense and long, deliciously concentrated and profound in its flavour. Seamless texture and great balance. The balance is off-dry; a superb wine.
94 points Bellarmine uses a decorative (although diminutive) label to tell you that just under 25g/l of residual sugar has been left in this wine by stopping fermentation and sterile filtering it to ensure it doesn't recommence fermentation. It's a pure, delicate mix of lime juice, Granny Smith apple and residual sugar, all contributing to this utterly seductive riesling. - James Halliday

A beautifully proportioned wine with orange peel accents and faint nutty nuances. Lively and pristine with lime juice flavours, balanced sweetness and integrated acidity. - Toni Paterson, Master of Wine and writer for The Real Review
