With vine age more than 20 years old, winemaker, Di Miller, decided, upon the favourable conditions of the stellar 2023 vintage, to make the first reserve Pinot Noir for Bellarmine with fabulous results. This wine has been made using the Burgundian cold soak method and on maturation in the cellar, it has seen more oak treatment that the usual Bellarmine Pinot Noir.
A wine for special occasions at memorable dinners, to share with wonderful friends and family.
93 points, Ray Jordan "Made in good years and this was a very good year. Lots happening on the nose as a mix of lightly stewed fruit with a lift of gamey meats and cherry takes hold. The palate displays great complexity with a gamey, truffle subtlety merging with the primary cherry and plummy blackberry characters."
